Stellar is seeking a Journeyman Wireman to install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems across projects. The role requires interpreting blueprints, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safety and code compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience, a journeyman license (preferred), and the ability to work independently or in a team, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active Journeyman Wireman license preferred.
  • 5+ years industrial/commercial electrical experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols.
  • Proven diagnostic ability on complex issues.
  • Stay current with evolving electrical technologies.

Description

The Journeyman Wireman is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical theory, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and proficiency to work with electrical tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
  • Understand and apply electrical theory in practical scenarios
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Utilize electrical tools and equipment proficiently
  • Diagnose and solve electrical issues effectively
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide guidance when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance and safety

  • Adept in conduit bending and installation
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possesses an active journeyman wireman license (preferred)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols
  • Proven track record of diagnosing and solving complex electrical issues
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with evolving technologies and industry practices through continuous education and training
  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
Travel Requirements:
  • Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwide
  • Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive movementsAbility to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to and exceeding 50 pounds
  • Adequate vision to perform all required tasks
  • Work on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops
  • Comfortable with heights and able to climb and descend safely
  • Strong sense of balance and spatial awareness
  • Participate in respiratory fit testing and use as required
