Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters
