Job summary

Hydro in Utah is seeking an electro-mechanical technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment in a safety-conscious environment. The role covers hydraulic/pneumatic systems, welding, and fabrication from blueprints. Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office is required.

The position calls for strong mechanical skills, 5+ years of experience, and a proven problem-solving mindset to support continuous operations and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Schooling/Certifications in relevant field is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in relevant Field
• Strong mechanical skills including pumps, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety records and advocate safety and housekeeping standards.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment using PLCs and testing devices.
• Install/repair conduit, wiring, motors, transformers and electrical components.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Operate arc/MIG welders and torches for welding and cutting.
• Fabricate parts from blueprints and sketches.
• Take the Maintenance skills test (Tooling University).
• Know MS Windows, Excel and Word.
• Work effectively with CMMS.
• Be a team player.
