Bill Jacobs Jaguar Land Rover Hinsdale is seeking a Journeyman Technician (Level 4) to join our state-of-the-art service department. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with precision, meeting factory specifications and safety standards.

The role includes working on Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in a modern facility, with access to advanced diagnostic tools, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dealership technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability standards.
• Experience with Jaguar Land Rover vehicles is a plus.
• Strong communication, computer and customer service skills.
• Reliable with a good work ethic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, recall work, and installations to meet dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Perform services across engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, HVAC, brakes, and exhaust systems.

$46.65 - $57.65+ per booked hour | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Level 4 Technicians

We are excited to add a Journeyman Technician to join our team at one of the region’s leading Jaguar Land Rover dealerships. The focus of the Journeyman Technician includes highly skilled vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, and repair. The ideal candidate has a passion for performing work with accuracy and efficiency.

What you'll do

Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, recall work, and installations, according to experience and certifications, that meet dealership and manufacturer requirements. Perform automotive services including engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes, exhaust systems, etc. Work in a state-of-the‑art building with a new service department with plenty of lush amenities.
