Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) seeks a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the DIARCM program at NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. The role covers research, integration, test, and life-cycle support of aircraft protection systems for aircrews against infrared threats and missiles.

U.S. citizen with Active Top Secret clearance (SCI and SAP eligibility), a technical BS/BA, and three+ years of relevant defense experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
• Technical or Scientific BS/BA from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of relevant defense or government program experience.
• Ability to work on-site with travel about every two months.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, development, integration, test, acquisition, and life-cycle support of electronic systems for aircrew situational awareness.
• Guides engineering development of modern complex systems and uses systems engineering methods.
• Advises on, administers, or performs technical work related to engineering projects and processes.
• Summarizes data and findings to support technical documents, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
