Knobelsdorff Electric Inc. in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support solar installation projects across Minnesota. The role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and 5+ years of solar or electrical construction experience.

You will install PV systems, interpret electrical drawings, mentor apprentices, maintain records, and collaborate with foremen to meet safety and project goals. Travel is required; compensation includes hourly pay and per diem.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• 5+ years of solar or electrical construction experience.
• Knowledge of PV systems and DC/AC configurations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Install photovoltaic (solar) electrical systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Apply knowledge of electrical codes and best practices on the job.
• Complete material takeoffs and support tool/equipment procurement.
• Mentor and support apprentices and crew members in the field.
• Conduct or assist in AC and DC terminations and wire management.
• Interpret construction documents, wire schedules, and BOMs.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records.
• Collaborate with foremen and PMs to meet safety and production goals.
• Communicate effectively with crew, customers, and leadership.
