Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support solar electrical construction in Minnesota. You will install PV systems, read drawings, and mentor apprentices while maintaining safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Minimum 5 years in solar or electrical construction.
• Experience with PV systems and DC/AC configurations.
• Ability to read drawings, BOMs, and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willing to travel extensively and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install photovoltaic (solar) electrical systems per drawings and specs.
• Apply electrical codes and best practices on the job.
• Mentor and support apprentices and crew members in the field.
• Conduct or assist in material takeoffs and procurement support.
• Maintain project documentation and field records.
• Collaborate with foremen and PMs to meet safety and production goals.
• Communicate effectively with crew and leadership.
• Contribute to a productive, respectful job site culture.
