ITA is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer to join our team remotely in the National Capital Region. Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award expected Spring 2025.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for government and commercial projects.
• Create, optimize, and manage software baselines to ensure system integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions.
• Design technical solutions supporting rapid software development in areas like supply chain analysis and process improvements.
• Create baseline software and databases.
• Work with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Modify and enhance existing software and databases.
• Perform unit testing and peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot and correct code defects.
• Participate in Agile processes and follow government standards (FISMA, NIST, CMMI).
• Maintain software deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-10 years of relevant software development experience.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance.
