• Analyzing building plans and engineering drawings to effectively strategize installations.
• Operating soldering and welding equipment to proficiently connect sheet metal components.
• Maintaining a tidy and organized work environment while strictly following safety protocols.
• Collaborating with colleagues such as plumbers, welders, and HVAC technicians when required.
• Inspecting structures to detect obstacles and ensure correct ductwork placement.
• Constructing and fitting sheet metal ducts, fixtures, and supports using various tools.
• Conducting tests on duct systems to detect leaks by pressurizing them with air or smoke.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferably 4+ years of experience as a Sheet Metal Journeyman.
• Competency in operating machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, etc.
