Comfort Systems USA Shoffner seeks Journeyperson Sheet Metal Mechanics to install duct work, read blueprints, lay out fittings, and finalize duct work in commercial construction projects. Work includes handling heavy duct, climbing, and working at heights with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sheet metal installation experience.
• Ability to show schooling hours to qualify as Journeyman.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Understand blueprints and drawings.
• Lay out and install commercial duct work.
• Unload, move, and handle duct work.
• Finish and seal duct work to pass testing.
• Help train apprentices.
• Work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Assist with installing commercial HVAC equipment.
