Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician to join their team on Oahu, HI. You’ll service and repair heavy diesel equipment in the field and in the shop, applying your skills to maximize equipment uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• Work on all makes/models of construction equipment in the field and shop, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely.
• Support customers and maximize uptime.

What You’ll Do

As our Service Technician, you will work on all makes and models of construction equipment both in the field and in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to support our customers and maximize their uptime. Being a Journeyman technician, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done.

What You Need

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. Class B CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation

$32.98-49.47/hr (Depending on Experience)
