A growing service plumbing company in the McDonald area is seeking a Lead Journeyman Service Plumber Foreman. In this role, you will oversee and coach Journeyman Plumbers, manage service calls, and ensure customer satisfaction. Competitive salary between $35.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus health insurance, 401(k), and PTO benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a legal Driver’s License without restrictions.
• Pass DOT Approved Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Experience in plumbing with a Journeyman certification.

Responsibilities

Overview

LEAD - Journeyman Service Plumber Foreman Position: Seeking a person that poses the Trade Knowledge and Leadership Skills to work alongside and oversee Journeyman Service Plumbers with and growing Service Plumbing Company in the South Fayette Township and all surrounding communities. Salary Range / Benefits

• TBD - $40,000 to $50,000 + Commission Pay + Benefits

Note: Here is the details of the Journeyman Service Plumbers that working Service Plumber Foreman will be overseeing and coaching.

Responsibilities

1. Daily duties and responsibilities include standard shift from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, reporting to the shop, coordinating with office staff, and preparing company vehicles for the day.
2. Run service calls: collect service call fee, review symptoms, identify problems, prepare good–better–best repair options with all labor and materials, present and sell work to the customer, and collect payment or deposit as applicable.
3. Complete approved work, clean and organize the work site, and review completed work with the customer; coordinate with Supervisor for next priorities.
4. End of day procedures: end at the shop by 5:30 pm, organize vans, fuel as needed, and confirm all customer needs are addressed with the Supervisor before clocking out.

Specific Requirements and Pre-Employment

1. Pre-Employment Requirements – To Be Completed Prior to First Day of Work
2. Pass DOT Approved Drug and Alcohol testing
3. Provide proof of a legal Driver’s License without restrictions
4. Insurance company will conduct a formal check of driving record and license validity
5. Provide three (3) personal references and current employers contact information

Qualifications

Journeyman Service Plumber – List of Experience Required including but not limited to:

• Sanitary Sewer Clearing / Video Inspection / Locating / High Pressure Jetter Cleaning
• Service and install all forms of plumbing fixtures and faucets
• Installation and service of both Tank and Tankless Water Heaters
• Installation and repairs to all types of hot and cold-water lines
• Installation and repairs to all types of toilets, toilet floor flanges, garbage disposals, and kitchen dishwashers (including electrical connections)
• Installation and repairs to all types of main and house natural gas lines
• Installation and repairs to all types of kitchens and bathroom sinks and vanities
• Installation and repairs to all types of exterior and interior water lines
• Installation and repairs to all types of well water pumps and systems controls
• Installation and repairs to all types of water filtration / softeners / conditioning systems
• Ability to perform behind-the-walls and ceiling leak locate issues
• Backflow device installation, testing and recertification

Daily and Employer Expectations

1. Employer responsibilities: provide training and orientation for Service Titan Dispatching and Scheduling; schedule and provide work hours; performance reviews

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour, with annual raises
• Company Benefits: health insurance (company-paid portion), 401(k) with company match after 90 days, uniforms, PTO (six holidays and 10 PTO days per year), company vehicle ( TBD based on candidate and commute ), commission pay for plumbing service sales
