Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking a Service Driver Electrician to travel to service locations, lead electrical service calls, and oversee installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial settings.

You will supervise Service Technician Helpers, ensure safety protocols, diagnose issues, document work, and interact professionally with clients while maintaining organization of tools and equipment. This role requires a valid Texas electrical license and a reliable driving record.

Qualifications

• Texas journeyman or master electrical license required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to mentor a team.
• Clean driving history and valid driver’s license.
• Strong work ethic, timeliness and dependability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in diverse weather and at heights with safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Drive to service locations to perform electrical service calls including troubleshooting, repairs, installations and maintenance.
• Lead and supervise Service Technician Helpers or apprentices to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Prioritize safety and enforce proper use of PPE and safety protocols on all calls.
• Diagnose electrical issues and ensure work complies with codes and regulations.
• Document all work, service reports, and paperwork accurately.
• Interact professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Oversee handling and organization of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are on schedule.
• Stay updated on industry trends and electrical codes.
• Document on-the-job training hours (OJT) to help determine starting salary.

• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns. Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships.


• Equipment and Inventory: Oversee the proper handling, organization, and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment used during service calls.


• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, including Service Technician Helpers and other electricians, to ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.


• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and emerging technologies to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Possession of a Texas Journeyman or Master electrical license. Significant experience in the electrical industry with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and components.


• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to oversee and mentor a team.
