Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Journeyman for our Freeport, TX site. This on-site role requires constructing, assembling, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding. A minimum of 3 years in scaffolding is required along with adherence to OSHA and Austin Industrial standards.

The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available. The job emphasizes safety, proper material handling, and teamwork within the Operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding craft.
• Education: High School diploma with lubrication technician cert.
• Ability to read and speak fluent English.
• NCCER-Scaff Bldr Cert, TWIC Card, Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Inspects job site and all scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Communicates safety hazards and mitigates risks before construction.
• Transports tubular scaffold and erects according to dimensions.
• Hoists scaffolding materials and secures scaffold to structures.
• Performs final inspection and dismantling as directed.
