Job summary

Climate Pros, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter Refrigeration to perform skilled pipefitting for commercial refrigeration systems in supermarket environments, including rack systems, display cases, and walk-in units. You will install, maintain, and repair piping and related components, often working independently or with a union crew.

Candidates should have journeyman status, experience with commercial refrigeration piping, and familiarity with energy management controls.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or preferred
• EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license required and maintained
• Additional safety training as required by employer or union

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, modify, and repair refrigeration piping systems (carbon steel, copper, specialty piping).
• Perform journeyman-level maintenance and repair of piping, valves, fittings and supports for rack systems and cases.
• Assist in system troubleshooting by identifying piping-related issues affecting performance.
• Perform leak detection, isolation, and corrective pipe repairs per EPA and safety requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, isometrics, and piping diagrams.
• Coordinate work with refrigeration technicians, electricians, and other trades as required.
• Complete service calls and maintenance in a professional manner meeting customer and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service documentation with notes and photos for all assigned work.
• Comply with company policies, jobsite procedures, and union rules.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Perform other pipefitter duties as assigned.
