Job summary

Idaho Furnace Plumbing Source is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber in Idaho Falls to join our residential and light commercial service team. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs and installations, and ensure work meets code and our quality standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, and customer-focused, able to work independently with a strong work ethic, maintain safety at the job site, and provide excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Plumbing License (Idaho preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years plumbing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs and installations.
• Install and service water heaters (tank and tankless).
• Repair and replace piping systems (PEX, copper, PVC, etc.).
• Troubleshoot drainage, water pressure, and leak issues.
• Ensure work meets local codes and company quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and explain recommended repairs.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites.
• Complete job documentation accurately.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch and team members.
