Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to perform the full range of plumbing, piping, sheet metal, electrical, ironworking, and welding duties on building projects. You will work under experienced leaders, oversee crew productivity, and help meet schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master License required.
• High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Good dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Aptitude for technical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials.
• Keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade-specific tasks on a construction site.
• Oversee the productivity of crew.
• Ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Perform some layout activities.
• Perform some material takeoffs as necessary.
• Trade-related material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
• Perform planned maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform equipment start-up with associated documentation.
• Perform quality control inspections.
• Technical troubleshooting and diagnostics when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
