Job summary

Ayers Mechanical Group is hiring a skilled plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in homes and businesses. You will work safely and professionally with a customer-first mindset.

We offer competitive pay with a $25–$40 hourly range, uncapped commission potential, a sign-on bonus after 90 days, generous PTO, health benefits, and a 401(k) with company match. Lead plumbers may receive a work truck and other reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
• Explain solutions clearly to customers.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Handle standard hand and power tools safely.
• Apply basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures according to local codes and company standards.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation before completing each job.
• Educate customers on operation of new systems and address questions.
• Promote additional equipment or services when appropriate.
• Complete work orders, time logs, and inventory sheets accurately.
