Waconia Comfort is seeking a Residential Journeyman Plumber to join our high-end installation team in the Waconia area and Metro Minneapolis. You will install, layout, and service complete residential plumbing systems with premium fixtures, while delivering exceptional craftsmanship.

You will follow structured weekday hours, emphasizing quality work, safety, and professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License is required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean insurable record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights; frequent kneeling, bending, squatting.
• Provision and maintenance of personal hand and power tools.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, layout, install, and repair complete residential plumbing systems with high-end fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and system drawings on-site.
• Apply advanced water-flow principles and perform brazing and testing safely.
• Communicate steps clearly to homeowners and maintain a premium service relationship.
• Maintain organized inventory, report tool issues, and complete installation documentation daily.

Job Overview

• Company: Waconia Comfort
• Salary/Pay Rate: $32.00–$42.00 per hour
• Location: Waconia, and Metro Minneapolis
• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM — 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Project Scope: High-End Residential Plumbing Installation, System Layouts, and Premium Fixture Retrofits.
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Current Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License and a Valid Driver’s License.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Precision Installation: Diagnose, layout, install, and repair complete residential plumbing systems, routing lines, and high-end fixtures to exceptional aesthetic and technical standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and flawlessly interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and system architectural layouts on-site.
• Technical Mastery: Apply advanced water flow principles, execute flawless brazing, and utilize modern diagnostic testing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Customer Trust: Provide a premium, relationship-driven experience for homeowners by communicating installation steps clearly and respecting their living spaces.
• Operational Accuracy: Maintain an organized technical inventory, report tool or equipment issues proactively, and complete clean installation documentation daily.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Licensure: Current, active Minnesota Journeyman Plumber License.
• Driving: Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record to operate company vehicles safely.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds on occasion during heavy equipment placement.
• Mobility: Comfort working in confined spaces, at height from extension and step ladders, and performing frequent kneeling, squatting, and bending.
• Tools: Provision and maintenance of the personal hand and power tools necessary to execute daily plumbing installation duties.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong background in dedicated residential plumbing installation environments.
• Deep, intuitive understanding of the current Minnesota plumbing codes and safety standards.
