About the team:The Facility Services team ensures Walmart locations operate safely and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. This team applies multiple craft skills, including plumbing, to maintain facility functionality and appearance. Collaborating with management and contractors, they uphold quality and safety standards while addressing repair needs promptly. The team is dedicated to continuous improvement, compliance, and integrity, creating a dependable environment for associates and customers. Their proactive approach supports operational excellence and the reliable upkeep of Walmart facilities across the network.
What you'll do:- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect facilities and document signs of wear, recommending necessary repairs or replacements to prevent future issues.
- Utilize blueprints, manuals, and tools to diagnose and resolve plumbing problems efficiently.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and expenses.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical facility needs outside regular hours.
What you'll bring:- Proven experience in plumbing and facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and fixtures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and warranty claims.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with managers, contractors, and coworkers.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications

- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
- 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
- Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
- License in related trade in city and/or state of work.
