Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Journeyman Plumber in Florida to install and repair all phases of plumbing systems in accordance with local and state codes. The role includes reading drawings, laying out pipe work, and ensuring safety on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, a Journeyman license, and knowledge of testing systems and code compliance. Compensation reflects hourly roles with on-site duties and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Med Gas license preferred.
• Backflow license a plus.
• Formal training program or apprenticeship completed.
• Familiarity with relevant techniques and tools.
• OSHA safety requirements knowledge.
• Ability to read and comprehend design drawings.
• Ability to layout using approved job drawings.
• Ability to operate plumbing equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of city and national plumbing codes.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Willing to tackle ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Layouts pipe systems from drawings and job specifications.
• Installs plumbing systems and supports per drawings and manufacturer instructions.
• Installs lavatories, toilets, urinals, and cafeteria fixtures.
• Installs drinking fountains.
• Installs storm drainage systems.
• Installs sanitary sewer systems and potable water systems.
• Maintains on-site safety and compliance with codes.
• Keeps equipment and tools operational per instructions.
• Tests plumbing systems per job specifications.
