Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
• Valid journeyman plumber license as required by state.
• Proven experience diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in various settings.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and broken fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints, building codes, and plumbing schematics to plan and execute installations and repairs accurately.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate plumbing work and provide expert advice on system upgrades or replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job for reporting and billing purposes.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and local plumbing codes to ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
