  • A strong understanding of large-scale plumbing systems and be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
  • Install and maintain commercial plumbing systems including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and gas lines.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications to determine layout and materials required.
  • Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify plumbing issues and recommend solutions.
  • Install and service fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and backflow prevention devices.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and HVAC professionals on construction and renovation projects.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls in commercial settings.

Required Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program or technical training in plumbing.
  • Valid commercial plumbing license (as required by local jurisdiction).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a commercial construction or maintenance environment.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor.
  • Experience with medical gas systems, fire suppression systems, or hydronic heating.
  • OSHA certification or other safety training.
  • Familiarity with green building practices and energy-efficient systems.
  • Experience using hand tools.

Physical Demands
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other HVAC equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those of medium work.

Work Environment
This job operates all environments, which includes extreme cold or heat depending on the time of year. Vehicles are used as the base of operations.
