Job Description: Journeyman Plumber

A Journeyman Plumber is a skilled professional with multiple years of experience in their trade. You will have opportunities for career progression, creating with your hands, working outdoors in various environments, and contributing to building projects.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay depends on experience with annual reviews and pay increases.

Main Responsibilities

• Work safely, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Lay out and install commercial piping in diverse settings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Install hangers to secure pipes.
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, or on roofs.
• Install plumbing fixtures.
• Operate various power and hand tools.
• Mentor Apprentices on the job site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Experience in commercial plumbing preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic math skills (e.g., tape measure measurements).
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Stand, walk, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs throughout the workday.
• Work efficiently in confined spaces and in various physical positions.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination for fine motor tasks.
