Job summary

HJD Capital Electric, Inc. is seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber in Texas to join our growing plumbing team on commercial projects.

You will read blueprints, lay out plumbing systems, install piping and fixtures, and support safety and compliance on sites across the San Antonio area. You’ll mentor apprentices and work on projects from schools to federal facilities, ensuring high-quality workmanship and collaborative teamwork with other trades.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber in Texas.
• 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and layout plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of water distribution, disposal systems, and large piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and plan plumbing layouts.
• Install and repair piping, fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Work with medical gas, water supply, and waste disposal systems.
• Lead and mentor plumbing apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and permit requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a Journeyman Plumber, you’ll play a key role in commercial construction projects-schools, hospitals, federal facilities, parks, and more. Your responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Equipment operation (Skid Steer, Mini Excavator)
