Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking Journeyman Plumbers to support our tenant improvement team across Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles County.

A company vehicle is provided after training; expected nighttime schedule on a Sunday-Thursday cycle with overtime potential. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects and must possess a valid driver license, pass a pre-employment drug test, and read/communicate in

Qualifications

• Four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience.
• Valid driver license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Verbal and written English literacy for cell phone and mobile email communication.

Responsibilities

• Demo and install plumbing pipes per codes (PVC, ABS, Cast Iron, copper).
• Mount fixtures and trim per manufacturer specs and codes.
• Install grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste and water systems in a commercial retail environment.
• Prepare jobsites with trenching, bracing, scaffolding and clean up debris.
• Operate equipment such as jack hammers and saw cutters safely.
• Read and lay out from blueprints and isometric drawings; follow OSHA guidelines.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service provider, specializing in retail, grocery, and convenience store projects. We deliver excellence in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels, supported by 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance programs.

We are currently seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join our tenant improvement team. Most work is scheduled within the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. A company vehicle will be provided upon completion of department training. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects and be available to work a regular night shift schedule.

Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday; 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• Overtime available but not guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Demo and install plumbing pipes such as: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and/or copper
• Mount new fixtures and trim according to manufacture specifications and municipal codes
• Install services for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environment
• Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
• Properly use equipment such as a jack hammers and saw cutters
• Read and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawings
• Must be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department

Requirements
