About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems across a variety of projects. In this role, you’ll interpret plans and specifications, diagnose plumbing issues, ensure work meets applicable codes and safety standards, and collaborate with other trades to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a licensed Journeyman Plumber who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and brings a reliable, professional approach to every job.

Core Responsibilities

• Plumbing Installation, Repair & Maintenance
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and related plumbing systems.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing service needs as required.
• Plans, Specifications & Code Compliance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and building specifications.
  • Determine appropriate plumbing system layouts and installation requirements.
  • Perform work in accordance with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
  • Follow established safety standards and jobsite procedures.
• Project Coordination & Execution
  • Coordinate plumbing activities with electricians, builders, and other trades.
  • Communicate project needs, potential issues, and progress to appropriate team members.
  • Prepare material and labor estimates as needed.
  • Support efficient project execution while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Tools, Materials & Documentation
  • Maintain plumbing tools and equipment in safe, reliable working condition.
  • Track materials and supplies used to complete assigned work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Ensure work areas, tools, and materials are organized and properly maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Journeyman Plumber in commercial construction or a related environment.
• Experience coordinating plumbing work with other trades on active construction sites.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete work with minimal supervision.
