Job summary

Paschal Home Services DFW, LLC is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our team. You’ll fix leaks, install water heaters and fixtures, and educate customers on maintenance and operation. You’ll work with a supportive team, use a range of plumbing tools, and ensure safety and code compliance.

You’ll mentor apprentices, document work orders, and coordinate with customers to deliver high-quality service with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of plumbing tools, techniques, codes.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with timekeeping, billing, and payment software.
• Mentor apprentices and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time with a plan for scheduled work.
• Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and damage prevention.
• Complete plumbing repairs: seals, leaks, water heaters, lines, disposals, fixtures.
• Inspect systems for code compliance and diagnose issues.
• Clear drains using specialized tools; operate advanced plumbing tools.
• Apply technical expertise to ensure system functionality.
• Follow safety protocols to protect team and property.
• Document work orders accurately.

What you’ll do:

• Complete plumbing repairs such as replacing seals, fixing leaks, and installing water heaters, water lines, garbage disposals, and fixtures.

• Inspect plumbing systems for code compliance and potential issues, performing diagnostics to identify and resolve malfunctions.

• Clear drains and blockages using specialized tools and equipment.

• Operate advanced tools, including electrical hand tools, saws, drills, brazing equipment, drain machines, and propress.

• Apply technical expertise to ensure optimal system functionality.

• Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself, the team, and the customer’s property.

• Mentor and guide Apprentice Plumbers to build their skills.

• Document work orders accurately for complete and detailed records
