Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fixtures, drainage systems, and water systems in residential buildings
• Interpret and follow blueprints, building codes, and job specifications
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on plumbing systems to detect leaks or issues
• Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians and electricians to complete jobs efficiently
• Lead, educate, and guide apprentice plumbers on-site to ensure compliance with plumbing codes and project standards
• Maintain detailed records of materials used and tasks completed
• Uphold high standards of safety and customer service on every job site
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumbing License (Michigan)
• Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience (residential preferred)
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, tools, and techniques
• Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documentation
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying environments (crawl spaces, attics, outdoors)
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential plumbing installations and repairs
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and their relationship to plumbing infrastructure
