As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

Pay Range

$30-$35 per hour

Qualifications of a Journeyman Plumber:

1. Valid Journeyman Plumber license if applicable.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a journeyman plumber.
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and schematics.
4. Proficiency with hand and power tools.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities of a Journeyman Plumber:

1. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
2. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
3. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Mentor and supervise apprentice plumbers.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
