Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years relevant welding experience in shipyard/industrial environment.
• Proven skills in welding production and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Exceeds journeyman standards and performs GTAW 6G welding.
• Performs CuNi and Stainless 316 welding.
• Braze in 4F and 5F positions.
• Performs SMAW 6G welding.
• Prepares surfaces by grinding and chipping.
• Recognizes and traces pipe systems aboard vessels and adheres to QA requirements.
• Cares for and safely uses hand and power tools.
