Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks a Journeyman Pipefitter to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with plans, specifications, and codes. The role involves working with carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, copper, and other materials on various projects.

Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pipefitter or related craft, knowledge of pipefitting methods, and NCCER Rigger certification when possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Pipefitter or similar craft.
• Must have pipefitting techniques and methods for different piping systems.
• NCCER Rigger certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and specs.
• Use hand and power tools safely for pipe installation.
• Coordinate with other crafts and team members to achieve zero injuries.
• Follow safety rules and participate in safety programs.
• Read plans and orthographic/isometric drawings to guide work.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring as needed.
