Yates Construction is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to fabricate and install butt weld, threaded, and socket weld piping, including above and underground sections and specialty piping. The role requires mastery of math for pipefitting and the ability to read and interpret technical documents.

The candidate will work with hand and power tools, manage rigging equipment, follow safety procedures, and contribute to project goals on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of heavy industrial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read ISO's, blueprints, P&IDs, and shop drawings.
• Required to complete safety trainings (e.g., Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights).

Responsabilités

• Work independently within established procedures.
• Read blueprints and sketches to repair, modify, install, and dismantle piping and fittings.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test piping systems and components.
• Perform pipefitting and brazing to join or repair piping and supports.
• Proficient in bending pipe.
