Job summary

A leading truck manufacturing company in Detroit, MI is seeking a Certified Journeyman Pipefitter. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and labeling plumbing and mechanical piping systems. The role requires a GED or high school diploma and a Certified Journeyman card, or the ability to document eight years of experience. Strong communication skills and good computer proficiency are essential. This position is onsite and not eligible for relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Pipefitter with ability to document 8 years of experience.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer/software skills including M/S Office, Prism.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and label plumbing and mechanical piping systems.
• Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, valves, and piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain coolant systems.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Cross-functionally trained

Education

GED or high school diploma
