TIC Inc is seeking an experienced pipe welder to plan, lay-out, weld, install and test pipe and tubular products on construction sites in Mississippi. The role requires precise welding, coordination with field crews, and adherence to plans, codes, and safety standards.

The candidate will read plans, lay-out work, operate welding equipment, and perform repairs as needed, while complying with project rules and safety requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior field experience preferred.
• Must understand and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in using electrical and hand tools, power tools and layout tools; measure accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, diagram and lay-out pipe welder’s work.
• Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations.
• Position weld setup, fit piping and perform precise welds independently.
• Lay-out and assemble pipes per production standards and specs.
• Make welding repairs and correct substandard welds.
• Assist with Pre-Fabrication layout or installation coordination.
• Assist with rigging of material.
• Operate weld-related tools and machinery.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and resources for tasks.
• Inspect work for compliance with plans and specifications and correct as needed.
