Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Journeyman Painter.
• Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license. NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED.
• Must be familiar with the correct application of all types of wall covering.
• Must be familiar with mixing and tinting of enamel and other types of paints.

Responsibilities

• Repairs to painted surfaces and various wall-covering materials throughout the complex.
• Preps and repairs painted wall-covered surfaces.
• Performs furniture touch-up and/or refinishing when necessary.
• Keeps Lead informed of inventory of all materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties.
• Participates in the Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Completes special assignments for management as requested.
