Job summary

Industrial Trade Services is seeking experienced Millwrights to join our team in a role offering per diem compensation. The ideal candidate will install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery, read blueprints, and perform alignment and rigging tasks.

Welding and fabrication are beneficial, with a strong emphasis on safety and independent work when needed. Candidates should have prior millwright experience, the ability to interpret drawings, and familiarity with conveyors and pumps.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial millwright experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with conveyors and industrial machinery preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging, equipment setting, and mechanical alignment.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work history.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, align, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Perform equipment rigging, setting, leveling, and alignment.
• Install conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify problems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements.
• Use precision measuring and alignment tools.
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic fabrication as needed.
• Work safely around heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
