ARISCO CONTRACTING GROUP is seeking masons to join our team. Candidates should be familiar with masonry techniques, capable of using hand and power tools, and OSHA trained. The role requires self-motivation, safety awareness, and the ability to meet job specifications.
Responsibilities include mixing cement, cutting materials, and assisting with various structures while interpreting drawings. Physical endurance and teamwork are essential for success on site.
Masons need to be familiar with common masonry techniques and capable of using various hand and power tools. Masons should be OSHA trained and certified with a good understanding of safety procedures. Masons need to be self-motivated, knowing the task at hand and accomplishing it.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
