Job summary

Northeastern Chimney in West Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time Experienced Mason. You will deliver brick, block and stone masonry work on chimneys and fireplaces, ensuring plumb, level and proper patterns.

You will repair and rebuild chimneys, install flashing, and diagnose masonry issues caused by weather and age. You''ll operate safely on ladders, roofs and staging, follow OSHA fall-protection guidelines, lift up to 80 pounds, and collaborate with homeowners and teammates to keep projects on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of masonry experience.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 80 pounds.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards, especially fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality brick, block, and stone masonry work.
• Ensure structures are plumb, level, and properly patterned.
• Repair and rebuild chimneys; install step and counter flashing systems.
• Work safely on ladders, roofs, and staging while supporting job site setup and maintaining clear communication with teammates and homeowners.
• Support project progress and keep sites clean and organized.

YOUR HOURS

You'll dispatch daily from home and enjoy predictable weekday scheduling with options of 7 am–4 pm, 8 am–5 pm, or 9 am–5 pm, giving you consistency and flexibility.
