Kiewit Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a range of construction vehicles on road and right-of-way projects.

You will load and haul materials, grade surfaces, trench for culverts and pipes, inspect equipment, and help train crew members in safe operation and job techniques.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, irregular hours, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience.
• Working knowledge of tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specs.
• Willing to work irregular hours and overtime.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Mansioni

• Operate a range of construction vehicles and heavy equipment on roads and rights-of-way.
• Load gravel, dirt, and sand; smooth and grade roads; spread rock and gravel.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts and pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Check and maintain fluid levels and lubrication.
