Job Opening: Journeyman Lineman

Q3 Contracting is seeking Journeyman Linemen for immediate openings at our locations in Commerce City, CO, and the Denver Metro area. Crews are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

1. Providing your own tools and gear; rubber goods are assigned by the company.
2. Safely performing tasks related to high voltage electrical lines.
3. Proof of Lineman certification, completion of lineman school, or apprenticeship hours.
4. Routine inspections, modifications, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
5. Demonstrating climbing techniques, inspecting overhead and underground structures, and installing poles and components.
6. Skills such as digging, guying poles, conductor handling, splicing, setting poles, switching, and energizing facilities.

Job Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record.
• Travel to various job sites, with potential overnight stays.
• Per-Diem for travel outside the local area, per IRS guidelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in the field.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Highly motivated and able to self-direct.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Compensation:

$62.09/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
