Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is hiring a Journeyman Lineman to support our electric distribution network across Arizona. The role requires working in the field, performing electrical line work, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Candidates must reside within one hour of APS headquarters, hold a valid Class A CDL and meet DOT requirements, with a clean driving record. Overtime is common and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must qualify as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Must live within reasonable distance from headquarters (1 hour).
• Overtime required and subject to callouts.
• Position requires working with aerial equipment; weight limit 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with ability to meet all DOT requirements; must have at least a Class A permit at application, and a clean driving record.
