Job Opportunity: Journeyman Lineman at Xcel Energy

Join Xcel Energy as a Journeyman Lineman and be part of a team dedicated to providing reliable energy services. We are looking for qualified individuals to work at our Chestnut Service Center (Minneapolis, MN) or Edina Service Center (Edina, MN). The starting pay rate is $60.31 per hour, with the position posted from April 29th, 2025 to May 12th, 2025.

Responsibilities

Perform duties related to overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems, ensuring safety, quality customer service, and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Journeyman Lineman Certificate and completion documentation
• Valid Commercial Class A Drivers License
• Physical ability to perform construction, operations, and maintenance work
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Commitment to safety and productivity

Additional Requirements

• Participation in after-hours emergency call-outs
• Subject to D.O.T. drug and alcohol testing
