Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Journeyman Project Manager to lead IT projects under the GMOS contract for the Department of State. You will guide a high-performing team to modernize and maintain applications and infrastructure using ITSM practices.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring deployment readiness, and providing post-deployment support while aligning with project milestones and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years in project management, IT coordination, or related fields.
• Active secret clearance required.
• Experience with IT project management and product lifecycle coordination.
• Knowledge of deployment readiness, operational requirements, and pre-deployment validation.
• Understanding of IT Service Management and collaboration between product teams and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT project management across DT/EA/CST portfolio teams.
• Establish processes to engage with product teams through lifecycle stages.
• Advise on infrastructure, security, monitoring, and support requirements.
• Maintain deployment readiness checklists prior to production.
• Facilitate collaboration between Enterprise Operations and Product Teams.
