Torch Technologies seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSO) Journeyman in Kettering, OH, to support AFLCMC/GBB H and GBBH programs. You will implement RMF, CSF, and NIST controls, manage ISCM, and enforce cybersecurity policies across DoD IT systems.

Qualified candidates have DoD experience, knowledge of Jira/eMASS, and proficiency with security testing tools such as Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and AppScan. U.S. citizenship and security clearance required.

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoW OR
• Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoW.
• Must have ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
• All Cybersecurity professionals should possess experience providing guidance on access control, configuration management, system and communications protection, contingency planning, incident handling, system and information integrity, security training and awareness; and software development, software and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide cybersecurity support per DoDI 8500.01.
• Assess and monitor cybersecurity risk ensuring compliance with RMF, CSF, and NIST.
• Maintain operational security posture for assigned IT.
• Enforce AF cybersecurity policies and countermeasures.
• Complete cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303.
• Ensure proper clearance and annual training for users.
• Maintain access control documentation IAW AF Records Management.
• Ensure secure configuration management per guidelines.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM, SCA, Wing Cybersecurity.
• Initiate protective measures for security incidents or vulnerabilities.
• Report incidents per AFI 17-203.
• Initiate exceptions/waivers to cybersecurity requirements.
• Onsite work location at Kettering, OH; travel 0-10%.
