All Things Metal LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Journeyman Ironworker to erect structural steel and miscellaneous metals on commercial projects. You will safely raise, align, and connect members, read erection drawings, and perform field welding and fabrication with minimal supervision.

The role requires leadership of apprentices, adherence to OSHA/AISC standards, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Local work with growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level ironworking experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with rigging, signaling, and structural steel erection.
• Ability to weld 3G and 4G SMAW.
• Ability to read and interpret erection drawings and shop drawings.
• Experience installing stairs, guardrails, and grab rails.
• Experience with structural steel layout, plumbing, sequencing, and connection methods.
• Ability to fabricate structural steel components in the field.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to lead small crews and mentor apprentices.
• Working knowledge of fall protection systems and construction safety requirements.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Erect structural steel and miscellaneous metal assemblies per plans and standards.
• Raise, position, align, connect, and secure beams, columns, stairs, guardrails, grab rails.
• Read and interpret erection drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Perform welding, field fabrication, layout, and bolt-up activities.
• Use gridlines and benchmarks to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain rigging systems and signal crane operators.
• Operate forklifts and aerial work platforms with proper safety.
• Lead small crews and mentor apprentices in field.
• Maintain welding certifications and quality standards.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies.
• Build positive relationships with customers and contractors.
