Job summary

Oasys International LLC is seeking an Information Security Analyst (Journeyman) to support cybersecurity, RMF, and security operations for mission-critical information systems at a client site in Elizabeth City, NC. The role focuses on risk assessment, vulnerability management, SIEM monitoring, and collaboration with government stakeholders to maintain compliance throughout the system lifecycle.

Required education is a Bachelor's or Associate degree with at least two years of information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; 2 years substituting for 1 year of education.
• 2+ years of information security experience as an analyst or in security operations.
• 2+ years of experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• 2+ years of RMF activities support and security controls assessment/validation.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, UNIX, Windows, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, monitor, and support security measures to protect networks, systems, apps, data, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and validate processes supporting authorization and assessment activities for cybersecurity requirements.
• Conduct RMF activities for information systems, including cloud environments.
• Assess cybersecurity risks against control frameworks, regulations, policies, and requirements.
• Assist the Security Controls Auditor with validation and RMF activities.
• Perform vulnerability and risk analyses across system life-cycle phases.
