Job summary

Bassett Mechanical is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install commercial/industrial plumbing systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and respond to customer needs to meet commitments and expectations.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience with large plumbing systems, a valid Journeyman license and strong communication, with physical ability for climbs and confined spaces. On-site work and on-call duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumber with at least 5 years of industrial/commercial plumbing experience.
• Backflow testing certification preferred.
• Good computer skills and strong communication abilities.
• Physically fit to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks within allotted hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial/industrial plumbing systems.
• Communicate with customers during arrivals and completions.
• Document field service work orders daily.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities and propose improvements.
• Call in daily to dispatch to update status.
