Under the U.S. Army INSCOM GILE program, Team V2X provides:

  • Global engineering, facilities, and sustainment of intelligence systems
  • Integration of new technologies and capabilities
  • Portal management, hardware design, network management, and logistics support

Our mission is to enable INSCOM’s anticipation of requirements and employ innovative techniques to support Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities globally.

This position is contingent upon contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities
  • Possess EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification.
  • Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, modifications, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC/Refrigeration systems.
  • Support installation of major HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components.
  • Inspect systems regularly, track repairs and PM, and ensure system availability.
  • Respond to service calls and PM inspections, diagnose issues, and document in CMMS.
  • Provide technical support for security-sensitive environments like SCIFs, including sound baffling and electrical current resolution.
  • Deploy worldwide in mobile facility environments as needed.
  • Offer technical assistance in a 24-hour environment, supporting critical outages and system performance issues.
  • Support U.S. Army systems on-site and deploy internationally for rapid support in hazardous environments.
  • Conduct daily surveillance walk-throughs of equipment.
  • Be able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow all safety policies, wear PPE, and attend safety training.
  • Operate building control systems such as Tridium Niagara and JCI Metasys.
  • Maintain logs of environmental conditions in critical spaces.
  • Assist with contractor oversight and escort during repair or renovation projects.
Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent + 4 years' experience leading to a Journeyman HVAC license, OR
  • 6 years' military HVAC training/certification.
  • EPA 608 Type II (or Universal) certification required.

Security Clearance:

  • U.S. Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance (Tier 5 background check) and eligibility for SCI access per ICD 704.
  • Some roles may require a CI Scope Polygraph, especially for access to TDN2.
