Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Journeyman Mechanical HVAC Technician with proven expertise in installation, repair, and service of commercial HVAC and piping systems.

You will read drawings, size piping, troubleshoot VRF/VRV, chilled water, and rooftop units; coordinate with other trades; and maintain safety and customer service standards. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC or equivalent experience is required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and HVAC piping and equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, plumbing, electrical drawings and codes for commercial systems.
• Able to size mechanical piping and components using math calculations per code.

Responsibilities

• Install, supervise, plan, and lay out equipment and piping systems for plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC.
• Read drawings and blueprints; interpret code specifications for commercial systems.
• Size piping and components using math calculations per code.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, hot water, chilled water, VRF/VRV, and rooftop units.
• Coordinate with other trades; maintain workflow and meet productivity goals.
• Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, staff, and supervisors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing of HVAC systems.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
